Year 7 Team-Building
Our much loved Year 7 Team-Building residentials aim to help pupils with self confidence, make friends and form bonds with the piers. The ideal trip is 3 days, 2 nights and will include a range of on-site activities and water sport sessions as well as team-building exercises. Every pupil should get to go on a school adventure so we have created a selection of winter offers, available between November & February starting from just £80pp+VAT. Our excellent indoor facilities and cosy rooms provide a warm and dry environment, with waterproofs provided for outdoor sessions. Available: Nov-February

Acting as technical advisors, we assist in the practical element of the Cambridge Nationals for schools and colleges across the country. Our role includes teaching and assessing all techniques and skills as outlined by your relevant assessing board specification.

Activities
High Adventure offers one of the best UK Outdoor Adventure residentials for years 7-11, with an excellent range of off-site activities making full use of the local area including real caving in the Yorkshire Dales, water sports, rock climbing & more. We also have a great selection of on-site activities with a high quality indoor climbing wall, outdoor climbing wall, high ropes courses and more! We will work with you to create the best adventure residential for your pupils to meet your objectives and offer a fun-filled experience and a range of learning outcomes.
With over 20 activities available, you'll be spoilt for choice. All activities are delivered by our DBS checked, qualified enthusiastic and professional team of instructors who will give your pupils a fun-filled session that builds confidence and encourages team-work. Archery
Following an introduction, pupils receive coaching for their first arrows, until they are confident and have the skills needed to get arrows on target. Pupils use bows appropriate to their size and strength...

Canoeing
Great fun in an exciting new watery environment; Raft up the canoes for stability and head out onto the water to learn how to paddle and steer through a series of exciting, action packed, fun games...

Caving
A session exploring the underground world of limestone caves and passageways in the Yorkshire Dales. Groups will learn about the processes involved in the creation of caves and the unusual formations seen.

Giant SUPs
Our Giant stand up paddle boards are pretty unique, 5m surfboards that will take 8 group members who stand and paddle the board. A very wet session that will be full of laughs...

Leap of Faith
Up to 3 children work together to reach the top of our 8 metre Jacobs ladder challenge; Climbing horizontal beams that grow ever further apart some clever ‘out of the box’ thinking and innovative ideas will be needed...

Raft Building
A fun and challenging water based activity that will encourage teamwork, communication, and creative thought; planning and decision making are the key here. Smiles are guaranteed...

Accommodation
We are a premier outdoor education provider in Yorkshire with comfortable rooms, en-suite facilities available, plenty of social areas, canteen & excellent on & off-site, indoor & outdoor activities. We're really well set up for adventure and provide wet weather gear, wet suits and have drying rooms on-site. Teachers have access to a kitchen, lounge & wi-fi.
We are able to facilitate up to 86 students and 7 staff in our main building with many of the rooms having en-suite facilities and/or ample toilets and showers on the same floor, close to rooms for easy access. Bedding is provided too.
The main centre has multiple breakout areas, canteen, drying rooms communal fridges & microwave as well as unlimited tea, coffee and juice for the children.
The centre is supported by an additional building called the MUGA which can be added to your programme at no extra cost for your group to use on an evening after activities have for a film night or as a social spot.
Offering plentiful, home-cooked food with locally sourced ingredients, we are able to cater to a wide variety of dietary requirements and offer a set weekly menu you can view here.
