Activities
At High Adventure, we work with you to create your own activity programme so that you get exactly what you want from your trip and can tell pupils in advance what they'll be doing!
With 30 activities available, you'll be spoilt for choice. All activities are delivered by our DBS checked, qualified enthusiastic and professional team of instructors who will give your pupils a fun-filled session that builds confidence and encourages team-work. Below are some of the most popular primary school activities, with plenty more to see on our activity page.

Climbing
We have 10m high purpose built indoor and outdoor climbing walls. A safe yet exhilarating environment suitable for introducing young pupils to a new and exciting challenge...

Canoeing
Great fun in an exciting new watery environment; Raft up the canoes for stability and head out onto the water to learn how to paddle and steer through a series of exciting, action packed, fun games...

Raft Building
A fun and challenging water based activity that will encourage teamwork, communication, and creative thought; planning and decision making are the key here. Smiles are guaranteed...

Zip Wire
Zip wire is a real thrill activity, which is great for group support and encouragement, individual confidence, and achievement. Flying across the length of our site big smiles and laughter are guaranteed...

Leap of Faith
Climb up to stand on a platform around 8 metres above the ground, then leap off and catch a bar which is dangling a short distance in front of you. That is the challenge that you face on our leap of faith; you are of course roped on in harness and helmet and therefore safe throughout...

Jacob's Ladder
Up to 3 children work together to reach the top of our 8 metre Jacobs ladder challenge; Climbing horizontal beams that grow ever further apart some clever ‘out of the box’ thinking and innovative ideas will be needed...

Labyrinth
Always one of our most popular sessions; an indoor underground maze, bringing caving indoors. Two levels of passageways and chambers with obstacles along the way. Pupils will explore the maze trying to find locations and different exits...

Giant SUPs
Our Giant stand up paddle boards are pretty unique, 5m surfboards that will take 8 group members who stand and paddle the board. A very wet session that will be full of laughs

Archery
Following an introduction, children receive coaching for their first arrows, until they are confident and have the skills needed to get arrows on target. Children use bows appropriate to their size and strength...

Adventure Walk
Pupils will explore and learn about the local area. Taking in Earl Crag and the pinnacle monuments, views across The Yorkshire Dales, Lancashire, and Yorkshire, scrambling and weaselling along the rock outcrops...
