High Adventure, Yorkshire for Primary Schools

We specialise in delivering Primary School outdoor adventure residentials & Adventure Days, with exclusive indoor KS2 Accommodation, tailor made itineraries chosen by you, excellent on-site facilities & local water sports.

Our small & friendly centre offers younger pupils a home from home, with comfortable dorm rooms, private teacher rooms closeby, social spaces, drying rooms, tuck shop & more. Located in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, we are surrounded by countryside and make the most of what is on the doorstep.

Choose from 30 exciting activities ranging from climbing and high ropes to our popular indoor cave maze (labyrinth) and water sports.

As well as our popular residentials, we also offer Adventure Days for local schools and can provide transport if required.

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at High Adventure.  You know how to deliver very high quality, engaging sessions to the children.  You allow so much time for each session enabling the instructors to spend time with each child, encouraging them and challenging them to achieve and exceed their targets.  We're impressed with the knowledge of your instructors.  Your domestic staff have been superb.  Our children and staff have had an incredible time, you all do a fantastic job.  We're looking forward to next year."

Activities

At High Adventure, we work with you to create your own activity programme so that you get exactly what you want from your trip and can tell pupils in advance what they'll be doing!

With 30 activities available, you'll be spoilt for choice. All activities are delivered by our DBS checked, qualified enthusiastic and professional team of instructors who will give your pupils a fun-filled session that builds confidence and encourages team-work. Below are some of the most popular primary school activities, with plenty more to see on our activity page.

"Following many years of becoming increasingly disillusioned with residential centres who seemingly wanted nothing more than our money, we feel we have struck gold in High Adventure.  From the point of declaring our initial interest, right through until our departure, High Adventure made everything simple. All activities are within close proximity to the hub of the centre meaning time isn’t lost or wasted moving between activities. The activity plan is tailored to meet our wants and needs rather than having to fit in with the centre’s limitations and restrictions. We are very much looking forward to returning again in the next couple of months. Highly, highly, highly recommended!"
